After taking bit of a break this week, the real heat will be back! Most areas will likely see highs climb into the low 90s. When you factor in a little more humidity, you will find feels like temps probably in the mid 90s. The muggy factor won't be off the charts so it won't push us much higher.
With the increase in humidity you will find an increased chance of showers and storms. There's at least a scattered chance of showers and storms expected out there today. Any one of these showers or storms could produce heavy rounds of rain.
The focus of the storm threat will really come together on Sunday evening and into Monday. At this point, we are under a Slight Risk of severe weather. A line of storms will develop Sunday afternoon across parts of Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. The line will march into Kentucky during the late evening hours. The primary threat will be strong winds. Hail will remain a good possibility as well.
The chances of severe weather will continue into Monday. The chances will likely be a little more widespread across Kentucky. This will be the timing when the really cool air arrives in Kentucky. It's a solid shot of cool air that could even bring record lows back to the commonwealth. It will feel just like fall for many of us.
