Heat storms back into Kentucky

I certainly hope you enjoyed your super pleasant Saturday. It was absolutely gorgeous! The overnight forecast will be pretty nice too. We'll likely have another night with temps taking a dip in the 50s throughout the entire area.

A warm front will pass by on Sunday. An area of high pressure will slip off the east coast of the United States and help pump in the much warmer air. That will also bring in more humidity. With that increase of moisture in the air it means a stray shower or storm could develop.

Any day this upcoming week will likely feature temps in the upper 80s to right around 90. It will give you all of the nasty parts of summer. Some of us might not ever reach the 90 degree mark thanks to several rain chances next week. When you couple the heat and humidity together for next week, you will likely experience heat index readings around 90-95. It will be a rough one for sure!

Happy Father's Day!
