Highway signs honoring fallen Bardstown officer to be unveiled

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Signs honoring a fallen central Kentucky police officer will be unveiled Tuesday. The signs will designate a 13 mile stretch of the Blue Grass Parkway as the "Officer Jason Ellis Memorial Highway."

Officer Ellis was shot and killed in an ambush in May 2013 along the Blue Grass Parkway in Nelson County.

Police have not made any arrests for the murder.
