Kentucky State Police are investigating a report of an alleged home invasion. It happened around 11 Saturday night on Irvine Road in Madison County.

Upon arrival, troopers learned two masked men confronted a woman outside a home and forced her inside. Once in the home, the suspects reportedly assaulted the victim. Investigators say they removed the woman's belt and beat her with it, before stealing several items. They tied the victim up before leaving. She was able to get loose and call police.
