Suspected robber held at gunpoint until police arrive

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - A man was arrested after police say he attempted to rob a man's home, but was held at gunpoint by the homeowner until police arrived.

They say it happened Thursday night on Gabbard Town Road in Richmond.

The homeowner called police and said the suspect had gone into his garage, then held him at gunpoint until they arrived.

Deputies say they arrested 33-year-old Charles C. Harvey.

He was charged with 3rd degree burglary and taken to Madison County Detention Center.
