Hot and humid day

Today is the last day of Spring but Summer temperatures are already here. High pressure will dominate today giving the commonwealth sunshine and hot temperatures. Winds will relax a bit now that the upper level low is out of the area. Expect a light southerly breeze that will be enough to keep it humid, pushing heat index values into the lower 90s. The first day of summer will be sunny and above average once again. No big changes in the forecast until Thursday when a weak cool front drops in. There will be enough moisture ahead of the front to spark off some isolated storms.

Some drier air will move in for the weekend increasing the comfort level but highs will still be above average. The dry air won't last long as a warm front on Sunday brings back the humidity and a few more clouds.

Have a great day!
