Hundreds of signs placed along Lexington streets

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - You've probably noticed them while driving around Lexington over the last few days.

Hundreds of bright yellow signs with the number 36,897 on them have been placed along the city's streets.

They're a part of a campaign by the Street Voice Council, a group organized to help Lexington's homeless.

Members of the group won't say exactly what the signs mean, only that it has something to do with addressing the homelessness problem.

Members of the Street Voice Council tell us they will reveal the meaning of all the signs during a big announcement on November 1st.
