Husband, wife charged after selling fake passes to Louisville Zoo

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A Louisville couple faces multiple charges after police said they sold fake passes to get into the Louisville Zoo.

Police said 30-year-old Christopher Bayens and his wife, 30-year-old Amanda Bayens were found in the zoo parking lot on Sunday, selling the passes.

Arrest records said the couple admitted to selling the fake passes when officers questioned them.

The passes were worth about $43 each, and the couple had nearly $2,300 worth with them when they were arrested.

The zoo lost about $100 from the fake passes that were redeemed before the Bayens were caught.
