We can finally say that we are going to have dry conditions and mild weather all in the same sentence. Not looking to shabby today as we will have gusty winds out of the south at 10-15mph, which will pump us up in the mid to upper 50s through the day under partly sunny skies. Heading into the night a very weak system moves through sparking a few showers along the way into the morning hours of Wednesday. Once that moves out early Wednesday we are left with a nice and sunny afternoon with highs in the low to mid 50s.
Thursday is the day to watch for several reasons. First off we are looking at a HUGE surge of warm air flowing into the region as our temperatures rise to the 60s and 70s! Those are ingredients for some strong to severe storms this time a year. Unfortunately that holds true Thursday evening and into the night where a cold front blows through here with thunderstorms. These will be strong and some could be severe with damaging winds being that main threat.
Once the rain moves out Friday morning we are left with a couple dry days until we have snow chances move back in during late weekend to early work week.
