Boy increases Christmas card collection goal

SALYERSVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - He broke the record for most Christmas cards ever received, now, an eastern Kentucky 9-year-old has another goal.

Dalton Dingus, of Salyersville, is battling stage four cystic fibrosis.

He beat the record of 35,000 cards received earlier this week, and is now nearing 60,000 cards.

Dalton's new goal is to collect 100,000 by Christmas Day.
