Inmate walks away from custody while in Berea

According to police, this evening a work release inmate walked away from custody while in Berea.

The inmate is 36-year-old Christopher Lloyd Northern.

Police say at the time, he was working with the Berea City Street Department on work release from the Madison County Detention Center.

He was last seen in the area of the Berea City Park and was wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt. He is 185 lbs, 6’2 and has some facial hair.

Police say he is not a threat to the public and is not considered dangerous.
