Investigation underway after overnight fire in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - An investigation is underway after a home was damaged in an overnight fire.

Firefighters believe the fire started near the attic on the second floor.

The fire damaged mostly the back of this abandoned home on North Broadway.

Crews were called to the scene when a neighbor was alerted by the smell of smoke.

Investigators do not suspect arson.
