MORGAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - An investigation is ongoing after a hit list was found at an eastern Kentucky school.
A Morgan County Schools spokesperson confirmed to WKYT that the list was found at Morgan County High School on Monday.
Morgan County school leaders say a search was conducted at the school this morning as part of the investigation, but they would not elaborate.
Some family members of students who go to the school claim the school district didn't tell them what was going on.
"I think that parents should be notified if the kids are involved in a hit list or anything that is concerning their safety, I think the parents should be notified," Amy Banks, the aunt of a student, told WKYT.
The school district did not tell us if any charges have been filed in this case.
They also wouldn't say how the hit list was discovered.
