Jail escapee still on the run

A jail escapee that police say should be considered dangerous is still on the run tonight.

Police say inmate Robert Waddell escaped police when he overtook a deputy jailer and stole a van outside a Breckinridge County hospital Thursday night.

Police found the van on highway 629 in Breckinridge County, but are alerting the 41-year-old Waddell was not found.

We talked with the sheriff in Breckinridge County.

Sheriff Todd Pate believes he could be hiding in a remote location within the county.
