HARLAN, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police believe an inmate who's been on the run for nearly two years is now behind another crime.

Police say Brandon Saylor escaped from the Marion Adjustment center in March 2011.

Earlier this month police in Harlan say he robbed some people at a home there.

The victims, who say they know Saylor, said he showed up pulled out a gun and said they owned him money.

Police say Saylor stole some guns before running off.

"I don't know if someone had been hiding him or helping him out or he just came in because he was owed money and got away again," said Chief Mike Thomas.
Police say anyone helping Saylor could be arrested and charged with harboring a fugitive.
