Johnson County soldier laid to rest

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky soldier killed in Afghanistan was laid to rest Saturday.

The military says 21-year-old Private First Class Joshua Gray died earlier this month in a non-combat incident. Gray's body arrived back in Kentucky earlier this week.

His funeral was held Saturday morning at Johnson Central Middle School.

Governor Steve Beshear has ordered all flags at the state office buildings to be lowered to half-staff Saturday in honor of Gray.
