CORBIN, Ky. (WKYT) - State police now know the names of the people involved in a deadly crash Thursday morning in southern Kentucky.
Investigators say Willard Eaton, 77, was pulling out from a parking lot just off the Cumberland Gap Parkway when he pulled into the path of a suburban, traveling westbound.
He was then taken to the Baptist Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say Eaton was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
The driver of the suburban, Christopher Davis, 27, was not injured.
Police closed the road for a couple of hours to reconstruct the deadly crash. The road is now back open.
