Scattered storms will develop into the afternoon hours and a few could be strong or severe. High winds and hail will be the main impacts.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It's a bluegrass tradition. The fall meet at Keeneland kicks off Friday afternoon.
While the races are steeped in tradition, there are some new things you can expect this year, including the new president and CEO, Bill Thomason.
Other changes include Sunrise Trackside on Saturday mornings. It's a fun opportunity for the family to have breakfast, take a tour of the track and even have the opportunity to ask the jockeys questions.
And on Friday nights, fans can enjoy happy hour on the paddock with live music and simulcast racing.
There will also be mobile wagering on Friday's and Saturday's in the tailgating and Louisville parking lots.
The Keeneland fall meet runs through October 27.
