A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is out for for much of northern and eastern Kentucky until 9 p.m. This is just east of the Lexington metro.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - The Kentucky Horse Park is offering two-day tickets for the price of one day's admission as part of its 35th anniversary celebration.
The Lexington attraction says the offer will give visitors more time to explore the park.
The deal means that guests who purchase a general admission ticket will receive free admission the following day.
John Nicholson, the park's executive director, says the park is more than a day trip for many people, due to all its activities plus numerous horse shows.
He says the new offering should result in more visitors spending the night in the area, which will help hotels and restaurants.
General admission tickets are $16 for adults and $8 for children ages 7 to 12. Children under age 6 are admitted free of charge.
