LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Proud Market at The Shops at Lexington Center adjacent to Rupp Arena will soon be closing its doors.
The manager of the store tells WKYT the store's last day will be next Tuesday.
While the manager says the store is not closing because of financial problems, she would not say why the decision was made to close the store.
The Kentucky Proud Market sells specialty foods, beverages and hand-crafted items grown and produced by Kentucky Proud and Kentucky Crafted members.
The 5,000 square foot facility opened in 2009.
The owner also owns Elk Creek Winery which is also for sale.
