Kentucky State Police investigating suspicious fires in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police are investigating a string of suspicious fires in Jackson County.

They tell us on Tuesday, several buildings, including a house and a barn suffered damage on Hurst School Road in the Clover Bottom community, after one of the fires. No one was in the structures at the time.

Then, on Wednesday, a mobile home was damaged in another fire, just four miles north of McKee. The trailer was occupied at the time of the fire. There are no injuries in this fire.

Kentucky State Police are asking anyone with information to come forward. You can contact KSP at (859) 623-2404 or toll free at (800) 27-ARSON. There is up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
