Kentucky jail inmates turn into dog trainers

HENDERSON, Ky. (AP) - Having bad manners has landed some dogs in jail.

Inmates at the Henderson County jail are working with six dogs as part of a new training program to teach dogs manners such as sitting and staying when told to, not growling and bearing their teeth and friendly strangers and trust humans.

The dogs go up for adoption Dec. 1.
