Kentucky State Police make murder arrest

A man is in jail charged with murdering another man.

Kentucky State Police say Jamie Wagers, 24, of Elizabethtown struck Christopher Higdon, 20, in the back of the head Saturday afternoon.

Higdon's body was found by troopers on Magers Drive in Elizabethtown once they arrived.

Investigators say they were first notified about the murder after a woman called police, telling them Wagers had struck Higdon and was chasing after him.

Wagers is now in the Hardin County Detention Center charged with murder.
