BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Wineries in a southern Kentucky county can now peddle their wares on Sundays.
The Warren County Fiscal Court this week approved an ordinance allowing Sunday sales on licensed small winery premises.
The owner of Reid's Livery Winery in Alvaton told The Daily News not being able to sell on one of the two days that people chose to visit wineries across the state proved tough on his business.
The county's approval comes on the heels of the city of Bowling Green expanding its Sunday alcohol sales. Package liquor and beer can now be sold on Sundays, and restaurants can begin selling alcoholic beverages earlier in the day than previously.
