BENTON, Ky. (AP) - A western Kentucky man faces 20 years in prison after being convicted of murder in a shooting death that took place in his driveway.
A jury in Marshall County on Wednesday convicted 55-year-old Billy Don Greer of killing 32-year-old Darryl Domingue on Jan. 4. The case centered on a confrontation between the two men about Domingue's wife at Greer's home
The Paducah Sun reported that prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed on a recommended 20-year sentence, which carries an 85 percent serve requirement before parole eligibility. Greer's sentencing is set for Aug. 5.
