LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A Lexington man has been placed of five years of probation for helping his father cover up a triple homicide in 2011.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reported that 24-year-old William L. Blancet Jr., was sentenced Friday for tampering with evidence.
Blancet's father, William Lee "Willie" Blancet Sr., was convicted in January of killing 57-year-old Donald Adams Sr.; 33-year-old Donald Adams Jr. and 28-year-old Ronnie Sparks Jr.
Police said the slayings were drug-related and Blancet Sr. stole oxycodone pills from the home after killing the men in January 2011.
As part of his conditions for probation, the junior Blancet has to maintain a job, he cannot have contact with the victims' families and he must report to alcohol and drug treatment.
