LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Road conditions greatly improved in Lexington on Thursday morning.

On Wednesday night, Lexington Police said officers had responded to more than 20 accidents since four o'clock that afternoon. That's when a wintry mix began to fall in the area.

By Wednesday night, the snow stopped and so did the accidents.

Road crews were able to treat the roadways to try and prevent slick spots. The treatment seemed to work, with little, to no reports of accidents.
