LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) -- A man is behind bars after deputies say he was driving drunk and nearly hit an officer.
Laurel County Deputies say it happened last night on Conley Road when a deputy spotted a truck, driven by Tommy Robinson, 43, swerving on the road.
We're told the truck nearly hit the police car, then swerved off the road.
That's when deputies say Robinson got out of the truck, ran into a field, and struggled with the deputy while being arrested.
Robinson was taken into custody, and is in the Laurel County Detention center.
