Man behind bars on domestic violence charges in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) -- A man is the Laurel County jail tonight on domestic violence charges, authorities say they found him hiding under his victim's home.

Terry Mullis, 30, of Woodbine, is behind bars after complaints that he body slammed his ex-girlfriend, assaulted her mother, and hit the family pet Friday night.

Police say Mullis ran off before they arrived on the scene, but Saturday morning they found him hiding in a blanket under the house!

Mullis is charged with criminal trespassing, and public intoxication of a controlled substance. he was also wanted on numerous outstanding warrants.
