Laurel County sheriff asks motorists to stay off the roads

Laurel County, Ky. (WKYT) - The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that all roads in Laurel county—including I-75, U.S. 25, Ky 30, Hal Rogers Parkway, Ky 80, Russell Dyche Memorial Highway, and all other state and county roads are extremely slick and hazardous (ice covered).

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is advising motorists that driving should be limited to emergencies only. All roads are ice covered at this time.

Deputies are out in full force and are investigating numerous traffic accidents.
