A major winter storm is on the way to the bluegrass state. Local high water issues are possible early Wednesday and that will be followed up by heavy snow and sleet. Significant accumulations are likely Wednesday night and Thursday.
We are still dealing with the active system that has put down decent rain totals the past couple days. The only difference today is that I don't see much rain in the forecast. It looks like a 30% chance toward the afternoon and mainly for the eastern zones. Highs should settle in the low 80s.
Friday and off into the weekend will still have rain chances, but not as likely as what we will see today. The weekend looks much better with our rain chances decreasing. The better opportunity to stay dry will be on Saturday with only a small chance there on Sunday.
