Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Hoards of comic and toy fans will descend on downtown Lexington this weekend as the Lexington Comic and Toy Convention rolls into town.
Organizers say they hope this year's event will be the biggest one yet. They are expecting more than 10,000 people to attend over the course of the weekend.
Stars from movies, television and comic books will all be on hand as the crowds gather into the Lexington Convention Center. Some guests include William Shatner, Melissa McBride from the Walking Dead and some of the original Power Rangers characters.
Lexington Comic-Con starts Friday night with a special VIP only event and will run through Sunday.
