LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- The Hope Center in Lexington is expecting a busy night because of the cold temperatures.
Workers tell us up to 350 people are able to spend the night at their emergency shelter on West Loudon.
But they say they're scrambling to get enough cold weather supplies for everyone who needs them.
"It's remarkable to think of how many people don't have the necessities for winter. And so, when we see these guys walk in, the first thing we want to do obviously is make sure they have their basic needs taken care of, that they're warm and they're fed and they have a place to sleep," said Brooke Raby from the Hope Center.
Workers at the Hope Center say they have an urgent need for donations of coats, socks, outerwear, and full sized blankets.
You can make donations at the Hope Center's emergency shelter.
