Lexington Police identify bank robbery suspect

Lexington, KY. (WKYT) - Lexington Police released information Thursday on a man they say robbed the Chase Bank on Winchester Road on November 26. Police say they do have an arrest warrant for William D. Abshear for the robbery.

A man walked into the Chase Bank just after 2pm Monday and showed the teller a note demanding money. Police say bank employees complied and Abshear took the money and walked out of the bank.

Police say evidence collected by investigators lead to them getting a warrant for Abshear for 2nd degree robbery.
