UPDATE: Lexington Police investigating fatal motorcycle crash
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT-TV)-The Fayette County Coroner has just identified the victim in this crash as 40-year-old Brandon P. Morrison of Lexington.
Lexington Police say they are investigating after Morrison, who was riding a motorcycle, ran into a pick-up truck.
The accident happened at the intersection of Leestown Road and Greendale. Police say the driver of the truck was waiting at the light to turn left from Greendale onto Leestown at 3:45 this morning. Police say he was in the process of turning onto in-bound Leestown when he and the motorcycle collided.
Police say the driver of the pick-up had a green light.
The driver of the motorcycle died and one person from the truck was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Morrison was not wearing a helmet.
