Lexington Subway robbed at gunpoint

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Subway employee at gunpoint Saturday morning.

Police tell us it happened around 9:00 a.m. at the Nicholasville Road Subway.

They say the man came in, demanded money, and got away with cash through the back door.

They describe him as an African-American, about six feet tall, medium build, wearing a brown coat and hoodie.

No employees were hurt in the robbery.
