Lexington ranked among 50 best U.S. places to live

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The bluegrass has received a new honor.

Bloomberg Businessweek has ranked Lexington among the 50 best places to live in the United States. Lexington came in at 25.

San Francisco took the top spot. But several cities in our area did well, including Nashville at 13 and Cincinnati at 21.

At 25, Lexington beat out Charlotte at 39 and St. Louis at 47. Los Angeles just barely made the top 50 to round out the list.

The magazine praised Lexington's strong employment rates, median income and happening night life.
