Lexington business robbed at gunpoint

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- We're tracking a crime alert out of Lexington Sunday.

That's where police say a man walked into a business, and robbed it at gunpoint.

It happened around 8 PM Sunday at Southern Rays Tanning on Keithshire Way.

Police say he walked into the business, demanded cash from the clerk at gunpoint, and walked out with money.

He's described as a white, mid twenties, five foot eight, with a thin beard, wearing a gray hoodie, sweatpants, and was last seen towards the roundabout heading towards Reynolds Road.

No one was injured in the robbery.
