Lexington gas station damaged in crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Workers at a Lexington gas station are cleaning up the damage caused when a truck crashed into the store.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Thortons on South Broadway at Gibson Avenue. Police say the driver accidentally put the truck in neutral instead of reverse. It rolled forward and shattered a large store window.

No one was hurt in the crash, and the driver was not charged.

The gas station will remain open while the repairs are made.
