Lexington man accused of child rape

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is in jail, accused of sexually abusing a small child.

Daryl Parker, 63, is charged with rape and sexual abuse. Court documents show Parker subjected the victim to sexual contact over a period of three years, beginning when she was 4-years-old. At the age of 7, police say Parker raped the child.

Parker will be arraigned Friday in Fayette County.
