Lexington man cut, beaten in home by burglars

LEXINGTON, KY. (WKYT) - On Tuesday morning, Lexington Police were called to Van Buren Drive for a report of a burglary. When officers arrived at the scene around 9:00 a.m., they found a man who had been attacked.

The victim told police he was asleep when two men kicked in the back door of his home. The burglars pistol-whipped the man and cut him. The victim was able to run to a neighbor's home for help.

The victim was taken to UK Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

There is a limited description of the suspects because they were wearing ski masks.
