LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Lexington man was hit Saturday night as he was trying to cross a street in downtown Lexington.
The man was crossing Main Street downtown, in between Limestone and Upper Street when a driver struck him with a car.
Police say the driver will most likely not be charged. They say it was difficult to see the man, since he was not using a crosswalk and was wearing dark clothing.
The man was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital, complaining of leg and back injuries. He is expected to survive.
