Lexington man injured, charged with burglary

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A man is injured after police say he was pistol whipped while trying to break in to his former home.

We're told he tried to force his way into the home on Chatsworth Drive in Lexington, but the roommate told him to leave.

That's when we're told the man hit him over the head with a pistol, causing injuries.

The man is said to be fine.

Police arrested and charged him with burglary.
