Lexington murder suspect waives extradition

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The man accused of murdering a Lexington man will soon be brought back to Kentucky from Texas.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says Mark Taylor has waived extradition. Investigators will not say exactly when Taylor will be brought to Kentucky. Taylor was arrested in Hidalgo County, Texas last week.

Taylor is charged with murder and kidnapping in the death of Alex Johnson.

Lexington police say Johnson disappeared from his home in December. His body was pulled from the Kentucky River last week.
