Lexington named on national list

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A national organization says Lexington is one of the best places for children and teenagers to live.

For the 5th time, Lexington has been named among the 100 best communities in the country for young people.

The America's Promise Alliance came up with the list.

The organization says Lexington continues to expand its commitment to children with educational, diversity, health, and safety programs.
