Lexington owner searching for missing service dog

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A desperate owner is searching for his missing service dog and is asking for your help.

Andrew Lucas said his service dog, Cletus, has been missing since yesterday at around two in the afternoon from his home on Caden Court, behind The Lex apartments on South Broadway and Pine Streets in Lexington. Lucas says he and the dog have just moved from Winchester.

Cletus is a basset hound-German shepherd mix. He is a rusty orange color and should be wearing a collar with all his IDs. Cletus's picture is shown here.

A private donar is offering a $5,000 reward for the safe return of Cletus.

If you have any information on the dog's whereabouts, or locate him, please contact Andrew Lucas on his cell (859)-475-4296 or his home phone (859)-455-9260. You can also contact Lexington Police at (859)-258-3600, the Lexington Human Society (859) 233-0044, or Home Again Pet Services 1-888-466-3242.
