Lexington police arrest two trying to steal thousands in electronics

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two men are in jail after Lexington Police say a second attempt at stealing thousands of dollars in electronics didn't go as planned.

A Northpark Walmart employee called police around midnight, after he saw two men breaking into a case of computers.

Police say the suspects tried to conceal several stolen computers by covering them in the shopping cart with stolen clothes.

Police arrested Tommy Doyle Junior and Gerald Johnson outside the store. They say the two men got away with a similar theft two weeks ago.
