Lexington police standoff ends

LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) - Lexington police have ended a standoff with a suicidal person.

Emergency crews were called to the Fox and Hound Condominiums just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Lexington police tell us a man called them, saying he was going to kill himself and that he was armed with a rifle.

Police tell us they went inside and found the person dead.

Police had to close Armstrong Mill from Tates Creek to Appian Way until they could resolve the situation.
