Woman pinned by car at Lexington pool hall

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman is in the hospital after a car pinned her against a building early Sunday morning.

It happened around 1:30am after police say the owners of Silver Cue Pool Hall on East New Circle Road kicked Rodrigo Soto-Gutierrez out of the building.

Police then say he got into his car and started to drive off, but instead side-swiped a car before hitting a woman and pinning her against a building.

Police say he tried to run but bouncers from the pool hall caught him and held him until police got there.

Soto-Gutierrez is charged with DUI and Assault.

Officials say the woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her name has not been released.
