Lexington restaurant damaged in crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It was a close call for a couple of driver after a crash knocked them into a restaurant.

It happened early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Pine Street and Upper Street.

Lexington police say the driver of a car pulled out onto Upper Street and was hit by a truck.

Both vehicles crashed into Mellow Mushroom, and took out a wooden planter and a bike stand. The crash caused only minor damage to the building.

No one was hurt. Police say neither driver faces any charges.
